ORDINANCE NO. 42-84 <br /> <br />BY: ChinnoCk, Gallagher, Graham <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE amending Paragraph (a) of Section 149.20 of <br />the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood to <br />provide for an increase for mileage allowance for outreach workers. <br /> WHEREAS, the miles travelled by outreach workers are such that this <br />Council determines an increase in the monthly mileage allowance is appropriate <br />and, <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That Paragraph (a} of Section 149.20 of the Administrative <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now reading as follows: <br /> <br />149.20 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE. <br /> <br />(a) Commencing March 1, 1982, in addition to such salary or <br />compensation as may be provided by any other ordinance, there shall <br />be paid the sum of one hundred twenty-.five dollars ($125.00) per month <br />to employees in group one, one hundred ($100.00) to employees in group <br />two, and forty dollars ($40.00) to employees in group three holding <br />the positions hereinafter designated, and who are not furnished City <br />owned vehicles for their use in the performance of their duties: <br /> <br />(1) Group One~.. <br /> <br />A. Building Inspectors <br /> <br /> (2) Group Two. <br /> <br /> A. Sanitary Officers in the Division of Health <br /> B. Outreach Workers <br /> C. Visiting Nurses <br /> D. Building Commissioner <br /> E. Assistant Building Commissioner <br /> F. Assistant Commissioner for Housing <br /> G. Meter Readers <br /> <br /> (3) Group Three. <br /> <br /> A. Home Heal th Aides <br /> B. Health Commissioner <br /> C. Planning Director <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />149.20 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE. <br /> <br />(a) Commencing March 4, 1984, in addition to such salary or <br />compensation as may be provided by any other ordinance, there <br />shall be paid the sum of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00} <br />per month to employees in group one, one hundred dollars ($100.00) <br />to employees in group two, and forty dollars ($40.00) to employees <br />in group three holding the positions hereinafter designated, and <br />who are not furnished City-owned vehicles for their use in the <br />performance of their duties. <br /> <br /> <br />
