ORDINANCE NO. 79-84 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures <br />of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31, 1984. <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from the <br /> Capital Projects Fund: <br /> <br />Capital Improvements Fund <br /> <br />$50,000 <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized <br />to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated <br />in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by the <br />head of the depatment for which the indebtedness is incurred. <br /> <br />Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such delibera- <br />tions of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such <br />formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with <br />all legal requirements including Section 121..22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to the City <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adop- <br />tion and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved:(~~, /~ ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
