ORDINANCE NO. 81-84 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Graham, Salmon, Wendling AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Council Grade XVII and enact new Coun- cil Grade XVIII of Section 1 of Ordinance 21-84 to increase the salary band for the Chief Executive Officer of Lakewood Hospital. WHEREAS, since the middle of April, 1984, a Search Committee has been working on the hiring of a new Chief Executive Officer for Lakewood Hospital, and WHEREAS, the consultants for the Hospital have recommended, and Search Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Hospital agree, that the salary band for the position of Chief Executive Officer for Lakewood Hospital should be increased in order to attract the very best qualified candidates for said position, and WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Council Grade XVII of Section 1 of Ordinance 21-84 now reading as follows: COUNCIL GRADE - XVII $49,837 - $79,102 23.96 38.03 Ambulatory Care Physician Chief Executive Officer/Administrator Chief Physical Medicine Chief Pulmonary Function Director Cardiac Care Unit Director Medical Affairs Director Medical Education Director Pathology Physician II Senior Vice President/Chf Financial Off shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: COUNCIL GRADE XVII $49,837 - $79,102 23.96 38.03 Ambulatory Care Physician Chief Physical Medicine Chief Pulmonary Function Director CArdiac Care Unit Director Medical Affairs Director Medical Education Director Pathology Physician II Senior Vice President/Chf Financial Off Section 2. That Section 1 of Ordinance 21-84 be and the same is here- by supplemented by enacting new Council Grade XVIII to read as follows: COUNCIL GRADE XVIII $65,000 '- $98,500 31.25 47.36 Chief Executive Officer/Administrator Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all suCh deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings ope~ to the public in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 ofthe Ohio Revised Code.
