<br />(k) The Director of Finance shall, upon re- <br />quest of the Mayor or the Council, provide periodic <br />reports in such detqil as required by the Councilor <br />the Mayor of all investments purchased, sold and <br />held. <br /> <br />SECTION 129.12. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS. <br /> <br />(a) The Director of Finance and his designees, <br />the Mayor. the Director of Law and members of <br />Council and their bondsmen or sureties shall be <br />relieved from any liability for the loss of any <br />Public Moneys deposited or invested pursuant to and <br />in compliance with this Chapter 129 of the Codified <br />Ordinances, includirig, but not limited to, losses <br />occasioned by the failure~of any depository. <br /> <br />(b) Section 731.55 of the Revised Code of Ohio <br />shall be applicable to the City and the insurance <br />authorized by such section may be procured by the <br />Director of Finance and the costs of such insurance <br />shall be paid by the City. <br /> <br />Section 2. Existing Sections 129.08, 129.09 and 129.10 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 3. Existing Sections 129.11 to 129.26, inclusive, of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City are hereby renumbered as Sections <br />129.13 to 129.28, inclusive, respectively. <br /> <br />Section 4. It is hereby found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this <br />Ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council and that all <br />deliberations of thiS Council and of any of 'its Committees that resulted <br />in such formal actions were in meetings open to the public in compliance <br />with all legal requirement, including the City's Codified Ordinances and <br />Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br />Section 5. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emer- <br />gency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace, property. health safety and welfare in the City for the reasons <br />set forth and defined in the preamble to this ordinance, and, provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon~its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it <br />shalT take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by <br />law. <br /> <br />passedjl~ If <br /> <br />, 1985 <br /> <br />~~~~ <br />/hM-l~ <br />~.
