<br />ORDINANCE NO. 46-85 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br />Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendlil <br /> <br />AN E~ERGENCY ORDINANCE to supplement Section 107.11 of <br />the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />LakewDod by enacting new paragraph (e) to provide notice <br />provisions for the Board of Building Standards and Building <br />Appe,al s. <br />, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of this Council <br />that complaints have been received from citizens of the community <br />as to the lack of n,otice of matters to come before the <br />Board of Building Standards and Building Appeals, aod <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the public's right to know and to appear <br />before all boards and commissions of the City to be heard <br />concerning matters pending before such boards and commissions, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />safety and welfare and for the usual operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE WOOD. <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That Section 101.11 of the Administrative <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood shall be <br />and the same is hereby supplemented by enacting new paragraph (e) <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />107.11 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />(e) <br />Building <br /> <br />Board ~f ~~!l~~~~ ~!~~~~~~~ and <br />A p P-e-ãï5: <br />1. Notice of public hearings <br />before the Board of Building Stan- <br />dards and Building Appeals shall be <br />by publication once in a newspaper <br />of general circulation within the <br />City at least four days pri-orto <br />such hearing. <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />2. In additlon to the notice provided in <br />subparagraph I hereof, notice of all matters <br />excluding internal Building Code violations <br />and signage review to come before the Board <br />which request a variance to the Building Code <br />shall be given to all owners and tenant occu- <br />pants of all property any part of whi ch abuts <br />upon âny part of the parcel of land described <br />in the docket item. <br /> <br />3. The notice referred to here~ <br />inabove shall be given by First <br />Class Mail with postage prepaid, <br />which notice shall be mailed by the <br />
