ORDINANCE NO. 49-85 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expendi- <br />tures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year <br />ending December 31, 1985. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the <br />usual daily operation of municipal departments~ now therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CI' <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be apPropriated from the <br /> Special Revenue Fund: <br /> <br />Office on Aging - IIIB <br /> <br />$ 875. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts <br />appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly <br />approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is <br />incurred. <br /> <br />Section 3. It is found and determined that: all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, <br />in compliance with all legal requirements including Section,121.22 of <br />the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />the City Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: .17., <br /> <br />Approved:(~ /%/f~ <br /> <br /> <br />
