(d) Identification Sign. One wall or ground <br />identification sign not exceeding eight (8) <br />square feet shall be permitted, .provided the <br />wall sign is located on the street side of a <br />multiple family building and provided any <br />ground sign located in front of the setback <br />line has received approval from the Board-of <br />Building Standards. <br /> <br />(e) Real Estate Sign. One temporary double <br />face free standing or wall sign advertising <br />the sale, lease, or rental of the premises or <br />part of the premises on which the signs are <br />displayed, not exceeding five (5) square feet <br />in area, shall be permitted for each lot. <br /> <br />(f) Canopy Sign. One canopy sign shall be <br />permitted. The total area of one face of the <br />sign shall not exceed five (5) square feet <br />and the vertical dimension of the sign shall <br />not exceed twelve (12) inches and the lowest <br />structural member shall not be less than <br />eight (8) feet from the sidewalk grade. <br /> <br />(g) Awning Sign. One awning sign shall be <br />permitted. The total area of one face of the <br />sign shall not exceed six (6) square feet and <br />the vertical dimension of the sign shall not <br />exceed twelve (12) inches. <br /> <br />(h) Billboards~ Portable Signs and Roof <br />Signs. Billboards, portable signs and roof <br />signs shall not be permitted in the Mi and M2 <br />zoning districts unless permitted by specific <br />provisions of this Code. <br /> <br /> Section 6. That existing Section 1329.09 of the Building <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now <br />reading as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1329.09 <br />DISTRICT. <br /> <br />SIGNS: <br /> <br />HIGH DENSITY APART~IENT M3 <br /> <br />Accessory signs in the High Density Apartment M3 <br />District shall be designed, erected, altered, moved and <br />maintained, in whole or in part, in accordance with <br />these regulations. The type of signs permitted as to <br />use, structure, size and number for each building or <br />lot shall be regulated as follows: <br /> <br />(a) The types of signs permitted as <br />regulated in the Mi and M2 Districts shall be <br />permitted in the M3 District. <br /> <br />-10- <br /> <br /> <br />
