Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood is hereby <br />renumbered as Section 1329.13. <br /> <br /> Section 12. That existing Section 1329.141 of the Building <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood is hereby <br />renumbered as Section 1329.14. <br /> <br /> Section 13. That existing Section 1329.15 of the Building <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood shall be <br />and the same is hereby supplemented by enacting new paragraphs <br />(b)(8) and (c) to read as follows: <br /> <br />1329.15 NONCONFORMING SIGNS. <br /> <br />A sign which is nonconforming on the effective date of <br />this chapter which does not conform with the <br />regulations of this or a subsequent amendment, shall be <br />deemed a nonconformity. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />(2) . . . <br />(3) . . . <br />(4) . . . <br />(5) . . . <br />(6) . . . <br />(?) . . . <br /> <br />(8) When a structure and/or use is non- <br />conforming and the signage restrictions for <br />the district in which it is located would <br />cause hardship, the regulations of the <br />district most compatible with the current <br />and/or proposed use shall be used. <br /> <br />(c) Any sign, graphic or numeral display embossed, <br />etched, engraved or otherwise an integral part of the <br />original building's masonary architecture which was in <br />existence prior to the effective date of this code may <br />be continued provided such sign, graphic or numeral <br />display is maintained as originally designed and <br />intended. <br /> <br /> Section 14. It is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of <br />this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, <br />and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />Committees that resulted in such formal actions, were in meetings <br />open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements <br />including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
