SECTION 9. SERVICES AND PROGRAMMING <br /> <br /> (a) ~o~ram Services The Company shall not reduce the <br /> number of video program services offered on the system without <br /> thirty (30) days prior written notification to the City. If the <br /> Company does determine to reduce the number of such services, or <br /> rearranges the tiers in which such services are offered, the City <br /> may during said 30-~ay period hold an informational public <br /> hearing to apprise the public of such reduction or rearrangement <br /> and the reasons therefor, and the Company shall participate in <br /> such a hearing by having a Company representative in attendance. <br /> <br /> (b) Leased Channel Service The Company shall offer leased <br />channel service for commercial use by persons unaffliliated with <br />the Company on reasonable terms and conditions in accordance with <br />applicable federal and state law, including Section 612 of the <br />Cable Communications Policy Act of 1984 (47 U.S.C. Sec. 532). <br /> <br /> (c) Access Support The Company shall provide the <br />following support for access usage, as a minimum: <br /> <br /> (1) Continued maintenance of a fully equipped, <br />operational local origination studio for access use; <br /> <br /> (2) Reasonable and nondiscriminatory use of the <br />Company's local origination facilities, on a defined priority <br />basis, by non-commercial tax-exempt organizations. <br /> <br />(3) Conducting a reasonable number of free video <br />training workshops annually to train local students and community <br /> <br /> - 12 - <br /> <br /> <br />
