ORDINANCE NO. 90-86 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br />Graham, ~,l'cBri de, Wendl ing <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures <br />of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31, 1986. <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of municipal departn~)nts; nm~, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUItCIL OF l~E CIIY OF LAKEWODD, SIAIE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from the Community <br /> Development Block Grant Fund - lg86 $ 292,000 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from the <br /> Capital Improvement Fund $ 6,400 <br /> <br />Section 3. lhat the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized <br />'to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated <br />in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved <br />by the he~d of the Department for which the indebtedness is incurred, <br />providing the President of Council shall approve all claims of the <br />City Council. <br /> Section 4. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br /> this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance <br /> were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br /> deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted <br /> in such formal actions, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance <br /> with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br /> Code. <br /> <br /> Section 5. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br /> measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives <br /> the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to <br /> Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br /> adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Approve <br /> <br /> <br />
