ORDINANCE NO. 5-87 <br /> <br /> BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br />Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures <br />of the~ City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31, 1986. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of <br />the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily <br />operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from the General Fund: <br /> <br />General Fund $ 700,000 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: <br /> <br />Street Constr. Maint. & Repair Fund <br /> <br />$ 55,000 <br /> <br />Section 3. That there be appropriated from the Enterprise Funds: <br /> <br />Hospital Operating Fund <br />Parking Facilities Fund <br /> <br />$ 6,230,000 <br /> 72,200 <br /> <br />Section 4. That there be appropriated from the Debt Service Fund: <br /> <br />Bond Retirement <br /> <br />$ 1,450,000 <br /> <br />Section 5. That there be appropriated from the Capital Projects Funds: <br /> <br />Recreation Improvement Fund <br /> <br />$ 649,000 <br /> <br />Section 6. That there be appropriated from the Special Assessment Funds: <br /> <br />Breakwall Impr. Fund <br /> <br />$ 150,628 <br /> <br />Section 7. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized <br />to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated <br />in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by <br />the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing <br />the President of Council shall approve all claims of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 8. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations <br />of this Council and of any of its Committees that resulted in such formal <br />actions, were in-meetings open to the public, in compliance with all <br />legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br />Section 9. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to'Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
