ORDINANCE NO. 49-87 <br /> <br />BY' Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures <br />of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31, 1987 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the .public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE tT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF: LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section I. That there be appropriated from the General Fund: <br /> <br />General Fund $ 322,000 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: <br /> <br />Street Constr. Maint & Repair Fund <br />OOA Title IIIB Fund <br />OOA - Title IIIC Fund <br />Litterless Lakewood Fund <br /> <br />44,000 <br />18,000 <br /> 5,000 <br /> 1,O00 <br /> <br />Section 3. That there be appropriated from the Enterprise Funds: <br /> <br />Water Fund <br />Wastewater Operating Fund <br />Parking Facilities Fund <br /> <br />22,000 <br />40,000 <br /> 5,000 <br /> <br />Section 4. That there be appropriated from the Capital Projects Funds' <br /> <br /> Capital Improvement Fund $ 19,500 <br /> <br />Section 5. That there be appropriated from the Special Assessment Funds: <br /> <br />Sidewalk Impr. Fund <br /> <br />$ 1,000 <br /> <br />Section 6. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized <br />to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated <br />in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved <br />by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, <br />providing the President of Council shall approve all claims of the <br />City Council. <br /> <br />Section 7. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance <br />were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted <br />in such formal actions, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance <br />with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br /> <br />Section 8.. That th~s ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />Council, it shall take effect and <br /> adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: /~~ <br /> <br />preamble, and provided it rec~e~'~ <br />(2/3) of all membersz~ .~o <br />be <br /> <br /> <br />
