ORDINANCE NO.' 62-87 <br /> <br />BY: Chinnock, Gallagher,i. Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN E~ERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor, for and on behalf of <br />the City of Lakewood to accept as a gift to the City of Lakewood the sum of <br />$11,596 from Lakewood Hospital. <br /> <br /> WHERFAS, Lakewood Hospital has awarded a grant in the amount of <br />$11,596 to the Lakewood Department on Aging for the purpose of continuing the <br />position of Coordinator for the Share and Care Program of the Office on Aging <br />with Lakewood Hospital, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said funds are to be used specifically to retain the nurse/ <br />coordinator, part-time, for the continued ccmprehensive home service delivery <br />system, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal departr~ent; now, therefore, <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF LAK~VOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and <br />directed to accept as a gift to the City of Lak~ood from Lakewood Hospital <br />the sum of $11,596 which funds are tobe used specifically by the City to <br />retain the nurse/coordinator part time for the 1987L1988 program year to <br />continue a comprehensive hone service delivery system. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and ~aat all such deliberations <br />of this Council and of any of its c~u~ittees that resulted in such formal <br />actign werein meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal <br />requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of twc~-thirds of all m~mbers <br />elected to council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately u~on <br />its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effe <br />be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Approved: ~ ~ //~ <br /> <br /> <br />
