Placed on First Reading on January 18, 1988 <br />Placed on Second Reading on,~".~b~a~y,' 1, 1988 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 6-88 BY: <br /> <br />Brown, Gallagherp Gazzana, George, <br /> Graham, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures <br />of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31, 1987. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: <br /> <br />Police Pension 'Fund <br /> <br />$ 46,000 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from the Enterprise Funds: <br /> <br />Water Fund <br />Congregate Living Facility Fund <br /> <br />$ 950,000 <br />$ 1,000 <br /> <br />Section 3. That there be appropriated from the Debt Service Fund: <br /> <br />Debt Service Fund <br /> <br />$ 2,100 <br /> <br />Section 4. That there be appropriated from the Special Assessment Funds: <br /> <br />Sidewalk Improvement Fund <br /> <br />$ 116,000 <br /> <br />Section 5. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized <br />to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated <br />in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by the <br />head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing <br />the President of Council shall approve all claims of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 6. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations <br />of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal <br />actions, were in meetings open to the public. <br /> <br />Section 7. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its approval <br />by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:j~~¢~ /¢/ /~a~ <br /> <br />Approved <br /> <br /> <br />
