Placed On 'Fi r~.~.~din§ on 3-7-88 <br />Placed On Second Reading on 4-4-88 <br /> <br />ORD I NANCE NO. 17-88 <br /> <br /> BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher <br />Gazzana, George, Graham,'.Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and fixing <br />salaries ~.of the annual salaried employees in the several de-. <br /> <br />partments and divisions Of the City of bakewood, excluding the <br />Divisions of Police and Fire, effective April 1, 1988, and <br /> <br />creating the positions and fixing the annual salary of the Chief <br />of Police, the Chief of Fire and Civil Service Commissioners, <br />effective January 1, 1988. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, -.this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for' the usual daily operation of a municipal department <br />in that in the interest of public service, welfare and safety, it <br />is necessary to fix the compensation of empioy'ees; now, there <br />fore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
