Section 3. All compensation provided for herein shall be paid in equal install~en~s every two weeks. Section 4. All annual salari_e~, employees, including the Chief of Police and the Chief of Fire, sha%l be entitled to cum ensable time off for actual hours worked xn excess of eight ~8%p hours per day and forty (40) hours per we~k, and. ~r ~~m~d on SaturdaY, Sunday and any holiaay 9s aez~ea. Thzs sec=ion aces not apply to Foremen - Class A, Traffic Signal Technicians - Public Works Department, and Jailers - Division of Police whose overtime compensation is covered pursuant to Section 5 herein. Section 5. Foremen - Class A, Traffic Signal Technicians and Jailers shall receive time and one-half of their regular pay for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. Foremen - Class A, and Traffic Signal Technicians shall receive time and one-half for all hours worked on Saturday, Sunday, or any holiday, as defined in Section 149.10. Section 6. Foremen - Class A, and Traffic Signal Tech- nicians - Public Works Department, and Jailers - Division of Police, who work more than four (4) hours as part of a regular shift assignment between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. shall receive a shift premium of twentyfive cents ($.25) per hour for all hours worked during the second shift (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight) and thirty cents ($.30) per hour for all hours worked during the ~hird shift (12:01 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.). In the event a Foreman - Class A is temporarily transferred from his regular day shift to assignment to another shift for the purpose of emergency snowplowing, he shall receive a premium pay of fifty cents ($.50) per hour for every hour worked up to eight (8) hours. .Section 7. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements.
