1335.04 REGISTRATION. <br /> <br />Before a permit shall be issued, the <br />contractor/applicant shall be registered as a <br />contractor with the City of Lakewood pursuant to <br />Chapter 1323 of the Codified Ordinances of the City <br />of Lakewood and shall'have all requisite insurance <br />in .place pursuant thereto. The provisions <br />contained in Chapter 1323 shall remain Unchanged by <br />this Sect/on. <br /> <br />1335.05 NOTICE. <br /> <br />Before the applicant shall-commence any such work, <br />notice, by residence service, shall be given by the <br />appli.cant -at 2east seven~ (?].'days ~n advance, in <br />writing, in form satisfactory to the Department of <br />Law of the City, to all owners and occupants of <br />buildings/structures immediately adjacent to the <br />structure on which the proposed work is to be done. <br />The applicant shall submit evidence to the Building <br />Commissioner in form satisfactory, that such uotice <br />has been given. <br /> <br />1335.06 RESTRICTIONS. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />(e) <br /> <br />Cf) <br /> <br />If high pressure boilers are used for <br />cleaning or other purposes, they shall <br />conform' to -the Ohio Revised Code and be <br />operated in a safe and approved manner~ <br />All such operations shall be shielded by <br />tarpaulins or other screening so as to <br />prevent vapor, water, dust and debr£s from <br />causing a nuisance by falling on pedestrians, <br />vehicles, public thoroughfares, ~nd adjoining <br />property~ <br />No such.operations will be conducted during <br />rains, snowfalls or when wind speeds exceed <br />15 mph or as otherwise determined as being <br />unsafe conditions for such process by the <br />Department of Health of the City of Lakewood~ <br />Ground tarping shall be used to at least 30 <br />feet from the work surface being stripped or <br />cleaned or to the property line of less than <br />30 feet and on. adjacent sides to collect as <br />much of the residue as possible to prevent it <br />from falling upon the ground~ <br />All vents, windows and other areas through <br />which air m/ght enter the premises upon <br />which the work is being conducted, aha11 be <br />covered to prevent fnfiltration~ <br />No such activity shall be permitted ~mder any <br />permit issued in accordance with t/hfs Section <br />which violates the City's Noise Ordinance <br />(lhapter~ <br />After the completion of the work to be <br />performed under the permit, the contractor <br />shall be requ£red to thoroughly clean up all <br />residue from the permit premises and adjacent <br />property, public r:£ght of ways or <br />thoroughfares. In addition, the contractor <br />shall ensure that no such work is performed <br />in such a manner so as to cause or create a <br />public nuisance and shall further ensure that <br />the cleanup of the work area is in such a <br />manner as not to cause or create a public <br />nuisance.
