Please substitute for Ordinance #12-90 <br />placed on first reading 2-20-90 and <br />on second reading 2-26-90. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 12-90 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br /> George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), <br />the Director of Public Works, the Director of Law and/or Director of Finance <br />to advertise for bids and to enter into a contract or contracts for the <br />purchase of certain repair, maintenance and/or operating supplies and/or <br />services, professional services, capital improvements and equipment for the <br />City of Lakewood as authorized by the 1990 Appropriation Ordinance with the <br />lowest and best bidder or bidders as provided by law. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure in that it provides <br />for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public <br />Works, the Director of Law and/or the Director of Finance be and are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the following <br />repair, maintenance and/or supplies and/or services, professional services, <br />capital improvements and equipment as authorized by the 1990 Appropriation <br />Ordinance with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after advertisement, <br />whenever such advertisement and bidding is required by law: <br /> <br />I.
