BAND Civil Service Commissioners $4,000 ADDITIONAL ANNUAL MERIT PAY Employees working in a position that utilizes the below listed licenses shall receive additional annual merit pay upon receipt of the following licenses issued by the State of Ohio: Plumbing Inspector's License Electrical Inspector's License Class III Field Inspector's License Class I Water Distribution License Class II Water Distribution License Class I Wastewater Treatment License Class II Wastewater Treatment License Class III Wastewater Treatment License Class IV Wastewater Treatment License $1,000 1,000 1,000 500 1,000 500 750 1,100 1,300 Section 2. Salary of the Director of Law shall cover all ordinary services including legal advice and opinions as requested by the Council or any individual member of Council, the Mayor and directors of departments, the drafting of ordinances and resolutions, attendance at Council meetings, and the administration and supervision of the Law Department. The Director of Law, the Assistant Director of Law and the Assistant Prosecutor shall receive as additional compensation, professional fees for the handling of any litigation involving the City of Lakewood, or other extraordinary services, such fees not to exceed $60.00 per hour. Section 3. Ail compensation provided for herein shall be paid in equal installments every two weeks. Section 4. Ail annual salaried employees, including the Chief of Police and the Chief of Fire, shall be entitled to compensable time off for actual hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week, and for work performed on Saturday, Sunday and any holiday as defined in Section 149.10. In lieu of the compensable time authorized herein, effective April 15, 1986, all annual salaried employees covered under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act shall be paid time and one-half their regular pay for all. hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours per week. This Section does not apply to Foremen - Class A, Traffic Signal Technicians - Public Works Department, and Jailers - Division of Police whose overtime compensation is covered pursuant to Section 5 herein. Section 5. Foremen - Class A, Traffic Signal Technicians and Jailers shall receive time and one-half of their regular pay for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. Foremen - Class A, and Traffic Signal Technicians shall receive time and one-half for all hours worked on Saturday, Sunday, or any holiday, as defined in Section 149.10. Section 6. Foremen - Class A, and Traffic Signal Tech- nicians - Public Works Department, and Jailers - Division of Police, who work more than four (4) hours as part of a regular shift assignment between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. shall receive a shift premium of twentyfive cents ($.25) per hour for all hours worked during the second shift .(3:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight) and thirty cents ($.30) per hour for all hours worked during the third shift (12:01 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.). In the event a Foreman - Class A is temporarily transferred from his regular day shift to assignment to another shift for the purpose of emergency snowplowing, he shall receive a premium pay of fifty cents ($.50) per hour for every hour worked up to eight (8) hours.
