BAND <br /> <br />Civil Service Commissioners <br /> <br />$4,000 <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL ANNUAL MERIT PAY <br /> <br /> Employees working in a position that utilizes the below <br />listed licenses shall receive additional annual merit pay upon <br />receipt of the following licenses issued by the State of Ohio: <br /> <br />Plumbing Inspector's License <br />Electrical Inspector's License <br />Class III Field Inspector's License <br />Class I Water Distribution License <br />Class II Water Distribution License <br />Class I Wastewater Treatment License <br />Class II Wastewater Treatment License <br />Class III Wastewater Treatment License <br />Class IV Wastewater Treatment License <br /> <br />$1,000 <br />1,000 <br />1,000 <br />500 <br />1,000 <br />500 <br />750 <br />1,100 <br />1,300 <br /> <br /> Section 2. Salary of the Director of Law shall cover all <br />ordinary services including legal advice and opinions as <br />requested by the Council or any individual member of Council, the <br />Mayor and directors of departments, the drafting of ordinances <br />and resolutions, attendance at Council meetings, and the <br />administration and supervision of the Law Department. The <br />Director of Law, the Assistant Director of Law and the <br />Assistant Prosecutor shall receive as additional compensation, <br />professional fees for the handling of any litigation involving <br />the City of Lakewood, or other extraordinary services, such <br />fees not to exceed $60.00 per hour. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Ail compensation provided for herein shall be <br />paid in equal installments every two weeks. <br /> <br /> Section 4. Ail annual salaried employees, including the <br />Chief of Police and the Chief of Fire, shall be entitled to <br />compensable time off for actual hours worked in excess of eight <br />(8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week, and for work <br />performed on Saturday, Sunday and any holiday as defined in <br />Section 149.10. In lieu of the compensable time authorized <br />herein, effective April 15, 1986, all annual salaried employees <br />covered under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act <br />shall be paid time and one-half their regular pay for all. hours <br />worked in excess of forty (40) hours per week. This Section does <br />not apply to Foremen - Class A, Traffic Signal Technicians - <br />Public Works Department, and Jailers - Division of Police whose <br />overtime compensation is covered pursuant to Section 5 herein. <br /> <br /> Section 5. Foremen - Class A, Traffic Signal Technicians <br />and Jailers shall receive time and one-half of their regular pay <br />for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day and <br />forty (40) hours per week. Foremen - Class A, and Traffic <br />Signal Technicians shall receive time and one-half for all hours <br />worked on Saturday, Sunday, or any holiday, as defined in <br />Section 149.10. <br /> <br /> Section 6. Foremen - Class A, and Traffic Signal Tech- <br />nicians - Public Works Department, and Jailers - Division of <br />Police, who work more than four (4) hours as part of a regular <br />shift assignment between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. <br />shall receive a shift premium of twentyfive cents ($.25) per hour <br />for all hours worked during the second shift .(3:30 p.m. to <br />12:00 midnight) and thirty cents ($.30) per hour for all hours <br />worked during the third shift (12:01 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.). In <br />the event a Foreman - Class A is temporarily transferred from <br />his regular day shift to assignment to another shift for the <br />purpose of emergency snowplowing, he shall receive a premium <br />pay of fifty cents ($.50) per hour for every hour worked up <br />to eight (8) hours. <br /> <br /> <br />
