ORDNANCE NO: 86-91 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana: <br /> George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of Lakewood, Cuyahoga County, <br />Ohio, hereinafter referred to as the MUNICIPALITY, in the matter of the <br />hereinafter described improvement and requests the cooperation of the County <br />theof CuyahogacOUNTY. by its Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the MUNICIPALITY has recognized the need for and proposes the <br />improvement of a portion of pub]ic highway which is described as follows: <br /> <br /> The interim resurfacing bf West ll7th Street (CR£252) from 8erea <br /> Road to Madison Avenue. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this project within the corporation limits of 'the MUNICIPALITY <br />is part of a ]arger project which is the interim resurfacing of W~st ll7th <br />Street (CR-252) from Bellaire Road to Madison Avenue in the Cities of Lakewood <br />and Cleveland. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the preservation of the health, welfare and safety of Lakewood citizens, <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council o.f the City of Lakewood, <br />County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio; <br /> <br />A. CONSENT <br /> <br />Bo <br /> <br />l. That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of <br /> said MUNICIPALITY be and such consen~ is hereby given to the COUNTY <br /> to participate in the cost of construction of the above described <br /> improvement. <br /> <br />COOPERATION <br /> <br />That the COUNTY and the MUNICIPALITY will cooperate in the interim <br />resurfacing of West ]]7th Street (CR-252) from Berea Road to Madison <br />Avenue.' <br /> <br />That the MUNICIPALITY will prepare construction plans and <br />specifications, inc]uding necessary engineering reports, which sha]l <br />conform to generally accepted engineering practices and principles. <br /> <br />That the MUNICIPALITY will arrange for the supervision and <br />administration of the construction contract. <br /> <br />That the MUNICIPALITY shall agree to provide the COUNTY with a <br />complete set of as-built plans upon the completion of this project. <br /> <br /> <br />
