OFFER TO PURCHASE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE PROPERTY <br /> <br />(To be executed and submitted In duplicate) <br /> <br />The City of Lakewood, Ohio, hereinafter called the Offerer, hereby offers to <br />purchase the United States Postal Service property situated at 1435 Warren <br />Road, City of Lakewood (Cuyahoga County), Ohio 44107, bounded and legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at a monument at the intersection of the center line of Detroit <br />Avenue and the center line of Warren Road (60 feet wide); thence south 4 <br />degrees 30 minutes 7 seconds west along said center line of Warren Road <br />364.65 feet to a drill hole; thence south 89 degrees 21 minutes 23 seconds <br />east 42.10 feet to the northwesterly corner of a concrete monument set in <br />the easterly line of Warren Road as widened and shown by the plat recorded <br />in Volume ll5 of Maps, page 17 of Cuyahoga County records and the <br />principal place of beginning of the premises herein Intended to be <br />described, said principal place of beginning being the southwesterly <br />corner of a parcl of land conveyed to the I. akewood Land and Securities <br />Company by deed dated June 27, 1929 and recorded in Volume 3921 page 594 <br />of Cuyahoga County records; thence south 4 degrees 30 minutes 07 seconds <br />west along said.easterly line of Warren Road 88 feet to the southwesterly <br />corner of a concrete monument set; thence south 89 degrees 21 minutes 23 <br />seconds east parallel with the southerly line of the parcel of land <br />conveyed to The Lakewood Land and Securities Company as aforesaid 160 feet <br />to the southeasterly corner of a concrete monument set; thence north 4 <br />degrees 30 minutes 07 seconds east parallel with the center line of Warren <br />Road.88 feet to the northeasterly corner of a concrete monument set at the <br />southerly line of the parcel of land conveyed to The Lakewood Land and <br />Securities Company as aforesaid; thence north 89 degrees 21 minutes 23 <br />seconds west along said southerly line 160 feet to the principal place of <br />beginning. <br /> <br />Being the same property as conveyed by auction by the Board of Education <br />of the City School District of the City of Lakewood, on the 16th day of <br />July, 1934. Also being recorded in Volume 4470, page 204, in the County <br />Clerk's Office for the County of Cuyahoga. <br /> <br />Subject to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. The purchase price shall be One Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars <br />($180,000.00), and payable in cash on closing. <br /> <br />2. Notice by the Postal Service of acceptance or rejection of this Offer to <br />Purchase shall be deemed to have been sufficiently given when telegraphed or <br />mailed to the Offerer at the mailing address herein indicated. <br /> <br />3. Notice by the Postal Service of acceptance or re~ection of this Offer to <br />Purchase shall be given not later than sixty (,60) calendar days after the <br />date of execution by Offerer. <br /> <br />EXHiBiT <br /> <br /> <br />
