ORDINANCE NO. 9-92 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for <br />expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal <br />year ending December 31, 1991. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br /> of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the uSual <br /> daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: <br /> <br /> Office-on-Aging Title IIIB $ 20,500 <br /> Children's Trust Fund 23,085 <br /> DrUg Enforcement Fund 50,000 <br /> Section 2. That there be appropriated from Internal service Funds: <br /> <br /> Hospitalization Fund $ 197,345 <br /> Workers Compensation Fund 405,530 <br /> Section 3. That there be appropriated from Capital Improvement Funds: <br /> <br /> Downtown Development $ 76,200 <br />Section 4. That there be appropriated from Enterprise Funds: <br /> <br /> Parking Facilities Fund $ 10,800 <br />Section 5. That there be appropriated from Special Assessments: <br /> <br /> Breakwall Funds $ 2,000 <br />Section 6. That the Acting Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts <br />appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly <br />approved by the head of the department for which indebtedness is <br />incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all claims <br />of the City Council. . <br /> <br />Section 7. .It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance <br />were adopted in an open meeting of the Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Section 8. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and )rovi.ded it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/'3) of/ ~el~bers <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in forfe imme~diaJtely <br />upon its adoption and approval by the ~'6'~-;~s~r~/ it sh~ll/take <br />effect and be in force after the earl~~~ ~w~./ <br /> <br /> Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
