ORDINANCE · 13-92 BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating the position of Procurement officer as an annual salaried employee in the. Department of Public Works of the city of Lakewood and fixing the salary of said employee. WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the public health, safety and welfare, and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department for the reason that central purchasing for the city requires that the position of Procurement officer be created at the earliest possible date; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the position of Procurement officer as an annual salaried employee in the Department of Public Works of the City of Lake~ood is hereby created and the annual compensation of such employee shall be as follows effective at the time of hire: BAND C - $24,595 - $42~550 Procurement officer Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this Ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal actions were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to. be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives tt%e affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. ~ ADOPTED: ~~ /~z! /~/~ ~sident· Clerk Mayor
