(b) <br /> <br /> (c) <br /> <br /> (d) <br /> <br />(e) <br /> <br />(f) <br /> <br />(g) <br /> <br />(h) <br /> <br />(i) <br /> <br />(J) <br /> <br />(9) <br />(10) <br /> <br /> and, in such cases, the Board of Control has <br /> approved a form of the contract to be awarded <br /> without competitive bidding. <br /> <br />As used in this section, "Awarding Authority,, means: <br />(1) In the case of contracts awarded pursuant to <br /> Section 111.01, the Director of Public Works; <br />(2) In case of contracts awarded pursuant to Section <br /> 111.02, the Mayor, the Director of .Public Works, <br /> the Director of Finance, the Director of Law or the <br /> Procurement Officer as determined by the Board of <br /> Control; and <br /> <br />eeeeeeeeeee®ee®eeeeeee®eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~eeeeee <br /> <br /> this section. <br />(3) Council may determine that the provisions of the <br /> general laws of Ohio, currently Ohio R.C. 153.51 to <br /> 153.53, inclusive, requiring separate bids for each <br /> trade or kind of mechanical labor, employment or <br /> business and pertaining to performance bonds and <br /> specifications of sureties, shall not apply to the <br /> City and its contracts. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That Section 111.06 of the Administrative Code of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> 111.06 WHEN CHAPTER IS NOT APPLICABLE. <br /> (a) This chapter shall not apply to contracts and <br />leases entered into in connection with the issuance of <br />industrial revenue bonds or other conduit debt issuances <br />where the City's taxes or other revenues are not obligated to <br />repay principal, interest or other Charges with respect to <br />the bonds, notes or other debt instruments. <br /> <br /> (b) The Awarding'Authority, with the approval of the <br />Board of Control or the approval of the Board of Trustees of <br />Lakewood Hospital when the Administrator of Lakewood Hospital <br />is the Awarding Authority, may in lieu of conforming to the <br />provisions of this chapter follow procedures which are <br />required by federal or state laws or regulations of federal <br />or state agencies when the contract pertains to projects that <br />are financially assisted by grants, loans or other'forms of <br />financial assistance of cooperation agreements from or with <br />the federal or state governments, or agencies thereof. <br /> <br />be and the same hereby is repealed and amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> 111.06 WHEN CHAPTER IS NOT APPLICABLE. <br /> (a) This chapter shall not apply to contracts and <br />leases entered into in connection with the issuance of <br />industrial revenue bonds or other conduit debt issuances <br />where the City's taxes or other revenues are not obligated to <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
