housing license as provided in this chapter has <br />been applied for, issued and is in force. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />1305.43 HOUSING LICENSE. <br /> <br />(a) No person shall let, rent, lease, conduct, <br />operate, occupy, maintain or own any building or <br />portion of any building in which there is one or <br />more rental dwelling unit(s) or in which a rooming <br />house is operated, or own any interest therein, <br />unless a housing license as provided in this <br />Chapter has been applied for, issued and is in <br />force. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That Section 1305.44(b) and (c) of the Building <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1305.44 LICENSE APPLICATION FORM AND FEE. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />(b) Except for condominium property, the fee for <br />such license shall be five dollars ($5.00) for each <br />dwelling unit and five dollars ($5.00) for each <br />rooming unit in each building for which a license <br />is required. For condominium property the fee for <br />such license shall be one dollar ($1.00) for each <br />owner-occupied condominium unit and five dollars <br />($5.00) for all other condominium units. <br /> <br />(c) In no case shall the fee provided for herein <br />be less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more <br />than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). Such fees <br />shall be paid to the City when the application for <br />the license is made. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />1305.44 LICENSE APPLICATION FORM AND FEE. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />(b) The housing license fees shall be as follows: <br />owner occupied condominium units - Two ($2.00) <br />Dollars; hen-owner occupied condominium units - Six <br />($6.00i Dollars; owner occupied three family <br />dwellings - Twenty-Five ($25.00) Dollars; all other <br />structures requiring housing licenses pursuant to <br />1305.43 - Twenty ($20.00) Dollars per dwelling <br />unit. <br /> <br />(c) Housing license fees shall be for the purpose <br />of paying the cost of periodic inspections and in <br />no case shall the fee provided for herein be less <br />than Twenty ($20.00) Dollars per building nor more <br />than: <br /> <br />Multiple family buildings and rooming units in <br />which individual suites and/or rooms must be <br />inspected - Two Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars; <br /> <br />Condominium buildings in which common areas, <br />including exteriors, will be inspected - One <br />Thousand Five Hundred ($1,500.00) Dollars. <br /> <br /> <br />
