(e) This ordinance does not apply to churches or <br />schools existing as non-conforming uses in resi- <br />dential districts. Non-commercial signage on such <br />premises shall be governed by application of <br />Chapter 1329 to the premises as if said premises <br />were located in a conforming and appropriate <br />zoning district. <br /> <br />(f) The Building Commissioner shall have the <br />authority to review all signs in Zones Ri, R2, Mi <br />and M2 to determine whether such signs are in <br />accordance with this Section. <br /> (1) The Building Commissioner may issue a <br /> citation(s) to any person found to be in <br /> violation of this Section; <br /> (2) The Director of Public Works maY remove <br /> any sign posted in a public right of way, <br /> tree lawn or utility pole. The Director of <br /> Public Works may determine the cost of <br /> · removal and assess such costs to the person, <br /> business, organization or entity who posted <br /> the sign(s); <br /> (3) Whoever violates any provision of this <br /> Chapter may, in lieu of other penalties· <br /> provided for in this Chapter and upon the <br /> signing of a waiver, be fined ~Twenty-five <br /> ($25.00) Dollars. If such violator pays <br /> such fine at the Clerk of the Municipal <br /> Court's office within seven (7) days or, if <br /> not within seven days, then in the sum of <br /> Fifty ($50.00) Dollars if such violator pays <br /> such fine at the Clerk of the Municipal <br /> Court's office, in person or by mail within <br /> 14 days from the date of such violation. <br /> (4) In the event a person cited for any <br /> violation under this Section does not pay <br /> the fine as provided in Paragraph (f) (3) <br /> herein, then a summons shall be issued by <br /> the Municipal Court and any person found to <br /> have violated the provisions of this Section <br /> shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the <br /> fourth degree. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of <br />this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and <br />that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its commit- <br />tees that resulted in such formal action were.~in to the <br /> IDENT -~ <br /> <br />public in compliance with all legal requ~ <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br />Approved:C~ ~!/ /~~--- <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
