AMENDED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />33-93. <br /> <br />BY: Bo$cia, Gailagher, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE fixing the compensation of the <br />Probation Officer of the Lakewood Municipal Court and the time and <br />method of payment thereof and repealing Ordinance No. 63-92 adopted <br />Ju/~e 17, 1992. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Municipal Court Act, Revised Code Section 1901.33 <br />provides that the legislative authority.of this municipality shall <br />fix the compensation of the Probation Officer appointed by the <br />Judge of a Municipal Court, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the Usual daily operation of a municipal department <br />in that in the interest of public service, welfare, and'safety, it <br />is necessary to fix the compensation of the Probation Officer and <br />direct the time and method of payment thereof; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the compensation of the Probation Officer of <br />the Lakewood Municipal Court is hereby fixed at the aggregate sum <br />of Thirty Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-three Dollars per annum <br />effective April 1, 1993. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />and directed to pay said compensation of the Probation Officer as <br />herein fixed, from the City Treasury in semi-monthly installments <br />or in equal installments every two weeks. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That Ordinance No. 63-92 adopted June 17, 1992 and <br />all other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith <br />shall be and are hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4. It is found and determined that all formal actions <br />of this Council..concerning and relating to the passage of this <br />ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that <br />all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees <br />that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the <br />public in compliance with all legal reqUirements. <br /> <br /> Section 5.
