WHEREAS, thc City has identified thc need for and proposes thc improvement of the public highway which is described as follows: Repair and resurface Clifton Boulevard (US-oD from West Clifton Boulevard (SR-237) to the East Corporation Line in the City of Lakewood, a distance of 2.84 miles more or lea~ said portion of highway within the municipal corporation limits being bereinat~er referred to as the improvement, and WHEL~,EAS,_tbc City_fu.r!h_.er d~ires_coo~rafion~fronLtbe_Direetor_of Transportation in the plannlng, el~igrl, and construction of said improvement. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by th¢~e-~lllgi:l~lf¢ll~ City of Lakewo0d, Ohio: SECTION I (Cooperation) That thc City hereby requests thc cooperation of the Director of Transportation in the cost of the above described improvement as follows: The entire cost of the project will be provided by the Department. No financial participation will be required. However. the City agrees to assume and contribute one hundred percent (I00%) of the cost of an:?- work included in thc construction contract, at the request of the City, which is determined by the Director not to be part of or made necessary by the improvement. SECTION II (Consent) That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of said City be and such consent is hereby given to tho Director of Transportation to construct the a~ve described improvement, in accordance with pIans, specifications and estimates as approved by the Director. SECTION I11 (Authority to Sign) That the Mayor of said City is hereby empowered and directed on behalf of the City to enter into agreements a~th the Dit Transportation necessary to complete the planning and construction of this improvement. SECTION IV (Traffic Control Signals and Devices) That traffic control devices installed within the limits of the project will conform with Section 4511 of the Ohio Revised Code. Page I of 3
