Rev. 2/12/93 <br /> <br />Placed on 1st ReadSng & Referred <br />to Finance Committee 9/7/93. <br />pLACED ON 2nd Reading 9/20/93. <br /> <br />NAME OF STREET <br />ROUTE NO. <br /> <br />Clifton Boulevard <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 48-93 <br /> <br /> .DATE November 15, 1993 <br /> BY: Gallagher, George, Gibbons, Roth, <br /> Seelie, Smith <br /> Anemergen~ ordinanceenacted by theCityofLakewood, Coun~ ofC~oga, OMo, in the matterofthe <br />hercin~erdescribgdimprovementandtor~u~tcooperation by theDirectorofTmnsportaUon. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thc City has identified thc need for and proposes thc improvement of the public highway wMch is <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Repair and resurface Clifton Boulevard (US-6) from West Clifton Boulevard (SR-237) to <br />the East Corporation Line in the City of Lakewood, a distance of 2.84 miles more or less. <br /> <br /> said portion of highway within thc municipal corporation limits being hereinafter referred to as the <br />improvement, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thc City further desires cooperation from the Director of Transportation in the planning, design, <br />and construction of said improvement. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the~~f¢l~ City of Lakewo°d, Ohio: <br /> <br />SECTION I (Cooperation) <br /> <br /> That tho City hereby requests the cooperation of the Director of Transportation in the cost of the above <br />described improvement as follows: <br /> <br />The entire cost of the project will be provided by the Department. No financial <br />participation Will bc required. <br /> <br />However, the City agrees to assume and contribute one hundred percent (100%) of the cost <br />of any work included in the construction contract, at the request of the City, which is <br />determined by the Director not to be part of or made necessary by the improvement. <br /> <br />SECTION II (Consent) <br /> <br /> That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of said City be and such consent is hereby given <br />to the Director of Transportation to construct the above described improvement, in accordance with plans, <br />specifications and estimates as approved by the Director. <br /> <br />SECTION III (Authority to Sign) <br /> <br /> That thc Mayor of said City is hereby empowered and directed on behalf of the City to enter into agreements with the Dit <br />Transportation necessary to complete the planning and construction of this improvement. <br /> <br /> SECTION IV (Traffic Control Signals and Devices) <br /> <br /> That traffic control devices installed within thc limits of the project will conform with Section 4511 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
