S7-93 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Flannery, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE .to adjust appropriations for expenditures of <br />the City of Lakewood, State lof Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31, 1993. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of municipal departments in that adjustments to <br />various funds areneeded to account for variances in expenditures and <br />revenues: now, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That appropriations be reduced in the following funds: <br /> <br />Street Construction Maintenance and Repair Fund <br />Community Development Block GrantFund <br />Fire Pension Fund <br />Office on Aging Title IIIB Fund <br />Job Training Grant Fund <br />Community Festival Fund <br />Childrens Trust Fund <br />Recycling Demonstration Fund <br />Little Links Fund <br />Wastewater Operating Fund <br />Wastewater Improvement Fund <br /> <br />($249,260) <br />($178,431) <br />($5,0O0) <br />($38,666) <br />($100) <br />($2,S00) <br />($1,640) <br />($86,869) <br />($9,960) <br />($48,235) <br />($81,030) <br /> <br />Section 2. That appropriations be made. in the following funds to <br /> to accomodate interfund transfers: <br /> <br />Lake Avenue Resurfacing Fund <br />Housing Rehabilitation <br /> <br />$15,000 <br />$261,833 <br /> <br />Section 3. Th'at appropriations be increased in the Water Operating <br /> Fund: <br /> <br />Additional Hospitalization Costs <br /> <br />$55,900 <br /> <br />Section 4. That the D~rector of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts <br />appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly <br />approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is <br />incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all claims <br />fo City Council. <br /> <br />Section 5. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action were in'meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Section 6. That'this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br /> <br /> <br />
