PLACED ON 1st Reading ~ <br />Referred to Public Works Cmte 2/6/95. <br />PLACED ON 2ND READING on 4/17/95. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO.: 2-95 <br /> <br /> BY: .Boscia, Flanner¥, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Director of <br />Public Works to enter into a contract with Kurtz Bros., Inc. to provide the <br />City of Lakewood with a site to receive and process yard waste generated by <br />the City of Lakewood, in accordance with Administrative Code Section 111.04 <br />(10), contract not to exceed the budgeted amount of $36,000.00. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preserva- <br />tion of the public property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of municipal departments, now <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the' Director of Public Works is hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into a contract with Kurtz Bros., Inc. to provide a site <br />to receive and process yard waste generated by the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the contra~ for this service shall not exceed the <br />budgeted.amount of $36,000.00. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that~all such deliberations <br />of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal <br />action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal <br />requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: ~ //, <br />~/ Y 'President <br /> <br />ApproVed:~/~ .~ ~2I I ~ ~f' <br /> <br /> <br />
