ORDINANCE NO.: 2-95 BY: .Boscia, Flanner¥, George, Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Director of Public Works to enter into a contract with Kurtz Bros., Inc. to provide the City of Lakewood with a site to receive and process yard waste generated by the City of Lakewood, in accordance with Administrative Code Section 111.04 (10), contract not to exceed the budgeted amount of $36,000.00. WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preserva- tion of the public property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments, now BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO Section 1. That the' Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Kurtz Bros., Inc. to provide a site to receive and process yard waste generated by the City of Lakewood. Section 2. That the contra~ for this service shall not exceed the budgeted.amount of $36,000.00. Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that~all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law.
