<br />PLACED ON 1ST READING & REFFERED TO THE <br />Finance Committee on 9/5/95. <br /> <br />PLACED ON 2nd Reading on 9/18/95. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO <br /> <br />60-95 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to adjust appropriations for expenditures of the City of <br />Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscaJ year ending December 31, 1995 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preselVation of the public <br />property, heaJth and safety and to provide for the usuaJ daily operation of municipaJ departments; <br />now. therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF omo <br /> <br />Section 1 <br />below' <br /> <br />That appropriations be increased in the following funds by the amounts stated <br /> <br />Law Enforcement Fund <br />Drug Enforcement Fund <br />Children's Trust Grant Fund <br />Debt Service Fund <br />Lakehouse Breakwall Fund <br />- Wastewater Improvement Fund <br />CDBG <br /> <br />$17,500 <br />875 <br />10,778 <br />365,812 <br />8,775 <br />102,530 <br />368,000 <br /> <br />Section 2 That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authonzed to draw checks upon <br />the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are <br />presented properly, approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is <br />incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all claims fcrCity Council <br /> <br />Section 3 It is found and determined that aJ! formal actions of this Council concerning and <br />rebting to the passage of this ordinance Were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that <br />all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal <br />action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements <br /> <br />Section 4 That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons <br />stated in thé preambÌe hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, itsha11 take effect and be in force inunediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor;' otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period <br />aJlowed by law <br /> <br />Adopted' <br /> <br />~o:?llfP:r <br />I <br /> <br />JdJuu ßOSc.(1"" <br />President of Council <br /> <br />f(U¡J¿f.~ <br /> <br />Clerk of Council <br /> <br />Approved ~y 3,1"1115 <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor <br />
