Business <br />is necessary to allow for the commercial <br />of the properties; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the citizens of the City of Lakewood will benefit <br />from such commercial redevelopment; now. therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br />Section 1. That Section 1103.02 of the Zoning Code of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood be and the same <br />~s hereby amended by changing and revising the Zoning Map to. the <br />extent that the properties known as 1637 and 1639 Ridgewood <br />Avenue and being described as follows: <br /> <br />Si tuated in the Ci ty of LakewQod, County of Cuyahoga <br />and State of Ohio, known as being Sublot No. 55 in the <br />Citizens Real Estate company's Subdivis.ion No. 2 of <br />part of original Rockport Township Section No. 21 as <br />shown by the recorded plat in Volume 37 of Maps J Page <br />14 of Cuyahoga County Records J bei ng 40 feet front on <br />the Easterly si de of Ri dgewood Avenue and extend; n9 <br />back of equal width. ahd having a rear line of 144 feet <br />as appears by said plat" be the same more or less, but <br />subject .to all 1 egal hi ghways. (Now known as 1637 <br />Ridgewood Avenue, PP#315-12-101.) <br /> <br />5i tuated in the City of Lakewood. County of Cuyahoga <br />and State of Ohio, known as beingSublot No. 56 in the <br />Citizens Real Estate Company1s Subdivision No.2 of <br />part of original Rockport Township Section No. 21,as <br />shown by the recorded plat in Volume 37 of Maps. Page <br />14 of Cuyahoga County Records. Said Sublot No. 56 has <br />a frontage of 40 feet on the Easterly side of Ridgewood <br />Avenue and extends between parallel lines 144 feet. as <br />appears by said plat, be the same more or less, but <br />subject to all legal highways. (Now known as 1639 <br />Ridgewood Avenue, PP#315-12-100.) <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby reclassified and changed from use <br />classification R2, Dwelling House District, to use classification <br />SR, Business Residential District. <br /> <br />Section 2. The Director of Planning and Development is <br />hereby authorized and di rected to make the reel as-si fi cati on <br />change on the Zoni ng Map of the Ci ty so as to refl ect the <br />amendment designated in Section 1 of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3.
