ORDINANCE NO. ~- 9 ~ <br /> <br />PLEASE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE <br />NO: 3-96 PLACED ON 1st Reading <br />~ Referred TO FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />ON 2/5/96; on 2nd Reading on 2/20/96. <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, <br />George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and fixing salaries of the <br />annual salaried employees and hourly paid employees not covered by a collective <br />bargaining agreement in the several departments and divisions of the City of <br />Lakewood, excluding the Divisions of Police, and Fire, effective April 1, 1996, and <br />creating the positions and fixing the annual salary of the Chief of Police, the Chief <br />of Fire and Civil Service Commissioners, effective January 1, 1996. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the usual daffy operation of a municipal department in that in the interest of public <br />service, welfare and safety, it is necessary to/ix the compensation of employees; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
