PLACED ON 1st Reading 6 Referred to <br />the COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE 7/1/96. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5-96-A BY:Boscia, Corrigan, Flannery, <br /> George, Roth, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and fixing salaries of the <br />-nnual salaried employees and hourly paid employees not covered by a collective <br />barg. in~ng agreement in the several departments and divisions of the City of <br />Lakewood, excluding the Divisions of Police and Fire, effective April 1, 1996, and <br />crea~iug the positions and fixing the .n-ual salary of the Chief of Police, the Chief <br />of Fire and Civil Service Com,-i~sioners, effective January 1, 1996. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ~ Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the interest of public <br />service, welfare and safety, it is necessary to fix the compensation of employees; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAII~ED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Positions are hereby created and the compensation of annual <br />salaried employees and hourly paid employees not covered by a collective <br />barg.~n~-g agreement in the several depax~uents and divisions of the City of <br />Lakewood, excluding the Divisions of Police and Fire, as fixed by the director of said <br />department with the approval of the Mayor, within the following schedule of <br />compensation, shall be as follows effective April 1, 1996, with the exception of the <br />positions Chief of Police, Chief of Fire and Civil Service Comm~-~sioners, which shall <br />be effective January 1, 1996. <br /> <br />BAND A - $38,184 - $68,068 <br /> <br />Director <br />Chief of Police <br />Chief of Fire <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />BAND B - $32,259 - $59,204 <br /> <br />Personnel Adm~ni-~trator <br />Operations Manager <br />Assistant Director <br />A~sistant Law Director and/or Prosecutor <br />Commissioner <br />Executive Assistant to the Mayor <br />Traffic Engineer <br />Data Processing Manager <br />Assistant Engineer <br /> <br />BAND C - $25,840 - $48,353 <br /> <br />Unit Manager <br />Assistant Commi-.~ioner <br />Assistant Prosecutor <br />Chief Surveyor <br />Office Manager <br />CDC Administrator <br />Procurement Officer <br />Clinical Supervisor <br />Coordinator II <br />Social Service Worker/Supervisor <br /> <br /> <br />
