AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Between the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County <br />and the City of Lakewood <br />for the resurfacing and painting of the Detroit Road (US-6A) <br />Bridge No. 66 over the Rocky River <br /> <br /> ~ This agreement entered into at Cleveland, Ohio this ,=~e~ day of <br /> ~&.~/' , ~, by and between the County of Cuya~Ohio, by <br />its Boar~ of County Commissioners, Party of the First Part and hereinafter <br />referred to as the COUNTY and the City of Lakewood by its Mayor, having <br />been duly authorized to enter into said agreement by Ordinance No. <br /> 6-96 adopted by Council of the City of Lakewood on the 6th day of <br /> May , 19 96, Party of the Second Part and hereinafter referred to <br />as the MUNICIPALIT-~. <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the MUNICIPALITY has recognized the need for and proposes <br />the improvement of a portion of public bridge which is described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />The resurfacing and painting of the Detroit Road (US-6A) <br />Bridge No. 66 over the Rocky River. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this project is part of a larger project which is the above <br />stated improvement in the Cities of Rocky River and Lakewood] <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and agreements <br />herein contained to be performed by the parties hereto, it is mutually <br />agreed between the parties hereto as follows: <br /> <br />A. CONSENT <br /> <br />That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent <br />of said MUNICIPALITY be and such consent is hereby given to the <br />COUNTY and the Ohio Department of Transportation to construct the <br />above described improvement in accordance with plans, <br />specifications and estimates approved by the COUNTY. <br /> <br />B. COOPERATION <br /> <br />That the MUNICIPALITY will cooperate with the COUNTY and the Ohio <br />Department of Transportation in the resurfacing and painting of <br />the Detroit Road (US~6A) Bridge No. 66 over the Rocky River. <br /> <br />That the COUNTY will arrange for the preparation of construction <br />plans and specifications, including necessary engineering reports <br />for improvements, under current Cuyahoga County Engineer <br />standards for construction of County roads and bridges. <br /> <br />3. That the COUNTY will arrange for the supervision and <br /> administration of the construction contract. <br /> <br /> <br />
