<br />PLACED ON 1st Reading & Refel ~d to Safety & <br />Traffic Committee on 6/16/97. <br />PLACED ON 2nd Reading on 7/7/97. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 31-97 <br /> <br />BY:Boscia, Corrigan, <br />Flannery, George, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE exempting the Regional Transit Authority <br />from the prohibitions of Sec:tion 901.18 of the Streets and Public Service Code of <br />the Codified Ordinances of Lakewood in order to permit the plQcement and/or <br />construction of one (1) new, Type S, bus shelter, easlbound. aj the intersection <br />of Warren Road and Detroit Avenue. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the usual daily operation of a municipai department; now therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby exempts <br />the Regional Transit Authority from the prohibitions of Sec;tion 901..18 of the <br />Streets and Public service Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />Lakewood in order to allow for the construction and/or piacement of one (1) <br />new, Type $, bus shelter, eastbound, at the intersection of Warren Road and <br />Detroit Road, provided that the conditions of the Regional Building Code are <br />met. <br /> <br />Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council conceming and reiating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of <br />this Council and of any it committees that resulted in such formal action were in <br />meetings open to the public in compliance with all iegal requirements. <br /> <br />Section 3.
