Section 6. That there be appropriated from Internal Service Funds: Hospitalization Fund $ 2,866,756 General Liab. Self Insurance Fund 70,000 Recreation Self Insurance Fund 10,000 Workers' Compensation Fund 700,458 Total Internal Service Funds $ 3,647,214 Section 7. That the following summary of appropriations shall govern expenditures of the City of Lakewood for fiscal year 1998 subject to any additions and/or changes: SUMMARY OF APPROPRIATIONS General Fund $ 29,413,037 Special Revenue Funds 12,709,207 Debt Service Fund 6,980,393 Capital Projects Funds 3,043,929 Enterprise Funds 19,605,899 Internal Service Funds 3,647,214 Total Appropriations $ 75,.399,679 Section 8. All encumbrances fi'om the prior fiscal year shall be carried forward. Section 9. All revenues projected and budgeted are reflected in the proposed budget document. Section 10. That the Dir~or of Finance be and she is hereby authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the mounts appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented, properly approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all claims of the City Council. Section 11. In accordance with Article IlL Section 14, of the Charter of the City Of Lakewood, Council hereby determines that the manner of ~ivin$ notice of the passage of this ordinance is to be by posting copies herenf for a period of not less then fifteen (15) days in not less than five (5) of the most public places in the City, which places have been determined by Council in Ordinance Bio. 55-59. Section 12. R is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council conceming and relating to the pessag~ of this ordinan~ were adopted in an open meeting of this Council and of any of its committees, thatresuitad in such formal actions, were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. Section 13. That this ordinnnce is hereby declared to be an emergency mensure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided, it receives the affirmative vote of mo-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor, otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law.
