PLEASE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 24-98 PLACED ON 1st Reading ~ Referred to PLANNING COMMISSION 3/2/98; PLACED ON 2nd Reading on 3/16/98. ORDINANCE NO: 24-98 BY: Corrigan, Flannery, George, Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith AN ORDINANCE to amend the Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, the amendments to the Zoning Code promotes the development of and protects existing residential uses found throughout the City thereby protecting property values; and WHEREAS, the amendments to the Zoning Code encourages the orderly development and retention of commercial uses in a manner consistent with the Community Vision; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That existing Section 1103.02(u) Lakewood, now reading respectively as follows: 1103.02 DEFINITIONS of the Codified Ordinances of the City of (u) DAY-CARE, TYPE A FAMILY HOME means a permanent residence of the administrator in which child day-care or publicly funded child day-care is provided for seven (7) to twelve (12) children at one time or a permanent residence of the administrator in which child day- care is provided for four (4)to twelve (12) children at one time if four (4)or more children at one time are under two (2) years of age. In coUnting children for the purposes of this division, children under six (6) years of age who are related to a licensee, administrator, or employee and who are on the premises of the TYpe'A home shall be counted. Type A Family Day-Care HOme does not 'include a residence in which the needs of children are administered to, :if all of the children whose needs are being administered to if all of the children whose needs are being administered to are siblings of the same immediate family and the residence is the home of the siblings. Type A Family Day-Care Home and Type A Home do not include any child day camp.
