Section 6. That there be appropriated from Internal Service Funds: Hospitatiza6en Fund $ 2,707,933 Workers' Compensation Fund 834,826 General Liab. Selflnsurance Fund 50,000 Recreation Self Insurance Fund 10,000 Total Internal Service Funds $ 3,602,759 Section 7. That the following summary of appropriations shall govern expenditures of the City of Lakewood for fiscal year 1999 subject to any additions and/or changes: SUMMARY OF APPROPRIATIONS General Fund $ 30,581,307 Special Revenue Funds 12,720,305 Debt Service Fund 3,730,939 Capital Projects Funds 3,163,933 Enterprise Funds 16,443,479 Internal Service Funds 3,602,759 Total Appropriations $ 70~242,722 Section 8. All encumbrances from the prior fiscal year shall be carried forward. Section 9. All revenues projected and budgeted are reflected in the proposed budget document. Section 10. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for .the amounts appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented, properly approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve alt claims of the City Council. Section 11. In accordance with Article III, Section 14, of the Charter of the City of Lakewood, Council hereb.v determines that the manner of giving notice of the passage of this ordinance is to be by posting copies hereof for a period of not less than fifteen (15) days in not less than five (5) of the most public places in the City, which places have been determined by Council in Ordinance No. 55-59. Section 12. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council and of any of its committees, that resulted in such formal actions, were in meetings open to the public in e0mpliance with all legal requirements. Section 13. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law.
