PLEASE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 67-98 <br />SUBMITTED ORIGINALLY WITH THIS EVENING'S DOCKET. <br />PLACED ON 1ST READING AS AI~ENDED ~ REFERRED TO <br />PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE ON 12/7/98. <br /> <br /> PLACED ON 2ND REAf)ING ON 12/21/98. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 6 7- 9 8 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Mayor (Director of <br />Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, and the Director of Finance to advertise for bids and enter <br />into a contract with the lowest and best bidder in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of <br />Lakewood for the purchase of the listed vehicles and equipment, contracts not to exceed the specified <br />amounts shown without separate Resolution of Council. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of the public <br />property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that <br />certain capital improvements projects are to be undertaken in 1999 in accordance with the Capital <br />Improvement Plan for fiscal year 1999, now <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section I.
