Communication Technician License <br />Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor III <br />Registered Sanitarian <br />Certified Lead Risk Assessor <br />Certified Pool Operator <br /> <br />1,000 <br /> 5OO <br /> 5OO <br /> 5OO <br /> 2OO <br /> <br /> Section 2. Ali compensation provided for herein shall be paid in equal <br />installments every two (2) weeks. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Ali annual salaried employees shall be entitled to compensable time <br />off for actual hours worked in excess .of eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per <br />week, and for work performed on Saturday, Sunday and any holiday as defined in <br />Section 149.10, provided herein that no accrued compensatory time shall be converted to <br />cash upon termination of employment. In lieu of the compensable time authorized <br />herein, all annual salaried employees covered under the provisions of the Fair Labor <br />Standards Act shall be paid time and one-half their regular pay for all hours worked in <br />excess of forty (40) hours per week. This Section does not apply to Traffic Signal <br />Technicians - Department of Public Works, whose overtime compensation is covered <br />pursuant to Section 5 and Section 6 herein, or employees who are paid overtime <br />pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement. <br /> <br /> Section 4. Traffic Signal Technicians shall receive time and one-half of their <br />regular pay for ali hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours <br />per week. Traffic Signal Technicians shall receive time and one-half for all hours <br />worked on Saturday, Sunday or any hohday as defined in Section 149.10. <br /> <br /> Section 5. Traffic Signal Technicians - Department of Pubhc Works, who work <br />more than four (4) hours as part of a regular shift assignment between the hours of 3:30 <br />p.m. and 8:30 a.m. shall receive a shift premium of twenty five cents ($.25) per hour for <br />all hours worked during the second shift (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 midnight) and thirty cents <br />($.30) per hour for all hours worked during the third shift (12:01 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.). <br /> <br /> Section 6. A qualified physician who is appointed to serve part-time as the <br />City's 'Health Commissioner shall be entitled to receive wages of $16,224 per year. <br /> <br /> :.. '.~: Section 7. Employee members, while serving upon a jury in any court, shall be <br />paid at his regular salary rate for each of his workdays during the period of time so <br />served. Time so served shall be deemed active and continuous service for all purposes. <br />In addition to the compensation provided for herein, any jury fees paid to the <br />employee/juror for service in any court, except Lakewood Municipal Court, shall be <br />retained by the employee to compensate for the expenses of jury service. <br /> <br /> Section 8. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this Ordinance were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that ali such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 9. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of ali members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br /> <br /> <br />
