Ohio, and in joint participation with the Lakewood Family YMCA/YMCA of <br />Greater Cleveland (YMCA) and Lakewood Hospital (Hospital), to assist in the funai~ of <br />a consultant for the purpose of conducting a comprehensive assessment of the YMCA <br />and to determine the potential need for an expansion of the YMCA to more fully serve <br />the needs of the Lakewood Community. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to cooperate with the YMCA and the Hospital in the <br />formulation of a plan for the comprehensive assessment of the future role of the <br />Lakewoocl YMCA facility in the Lakcwood C0mm~rlity; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City., the YMCA and the Hospital desire to conduct a market <br />research study and have agreed to share equally in the cost for such study; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City could benefit from the potential expansion of the Lakewood <br />YMCA facility in terms of new and enhanced community and recreational facilities from <br />such expansion; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, on behalf of the City, is hereby authorized to join <br />with the YMCA and the Hospital in selecting and funding a consultant for a market <br />research study for the purpose of assisting in the implementation of a plan for the <br />comprehensive ass~sment for the future role of the Lakewood YMCA facility in the <br />Lakewood Community; the City's portion of said funding shall not exceed $10,000.00. <br /> <br /> Section 2. h is found and determin~l that ail formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this Resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that ail such deliberation of the Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with ail legai requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stmed in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two.thirds, of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and <br /> <br />be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />Adopted:~ /~ /~ ~ <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> <br />
