Placed on 1st Reading and Referred to <br />Public Works Committee 5/17/99. <br />Placed on 2nd Reading 6/7/99. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 25-99 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE exempting the Regional Transit Authority <br />from the prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the Streets and Public Service Code of the <br />Codified Ordinances of Lakew0od in order to permit the installation of one (1) new glass <br />shelter eastbound at 11843 Edgewater Ddve. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby exempts the <br />Regional Transit Authority from the prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the Streets and <br />Public Service Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to <br />allow for the installation of one (1) new glass bus shelter eastbound at 11843 Edgewater <br />Ddve, provided that the conditions of the Regional Building Code are met. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it received the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor, otherwise, it shall <br />take effect and be in force after the earliest pedod allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br /> <br />
