ORDINANCE NO. 33~00 mY. Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, S~lie, Skindell, Smith AN EM ERGENCY ORDINANCE exempting the Regional Transit Authority from the prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the Streets and Public Service Code of the Codified Ordinances of Lakewood in order to permit the installation of one (1) new glass shelter southbound on West 117th Street next to Walgreen's. WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF'OHIO Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby exempts the 'Regional Transit Authority from the prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the Streets and Public Se n/ice Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to allow for the installation of one (1) new glass bus shelter southbound on West 117th Street next to Walgreen's, provided that the conditions of the Regional Building Code are met. Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberation of the Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. Section 3. That ~h;.~ Ordinance is heresy declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it received the affirmative vote of two- thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its approval by the Mayor, otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law.
