ORDINANCE NO. 33~00 mY. Corrigan, FitzGerald, <br /> George, Roth, S~lie, Skindell, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EM ERGENCY ORDINANCE exempting the Regional Transit Authority from the <br />prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the Streets and Public Service Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of Lakewood in order to permit the installation of one (1) new glass shelter <br />southbound on West 117th Street next to Walgreen's. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual <br />daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF'OHIO <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby exempts the <br />'Regional Transit Authority from the prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the Streets and <br />Public Se n/ice Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to <br />allow for the installation of one (1) new glass bus shelter southbound on West 117th <br />Street next to Walgreen's, provided that the conditions of the Regional Building Code <br />are met. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of <br />this Council, and that all such deliberation of the Council and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal <br />requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That ~h;.~ Ordinance is heresy declared to be an emergency measure for <br />the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it received the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its approval by the Mayor, otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period <br /> <br />allowed by law. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Cler~ <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
