PLACED ON 2ND RBADINGll/20/~ <br /> <br />ORDINANCENO. 65-00 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth <br /> Seelie, Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> An ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor to accept the transfer of title to the City of <br />Lakewood of three parcels of real estate abutting property currently owned by the City of <br />Lakewood for purposes of expanding the Lakewood Hospital Emergency Department. <br /> WHEREAS, the Lakewood Hospital Association holds title to three parcels of land <br />bearing Permanent Parcel Number 314-07-018 (1471 Belle Avenue), Permanent Parcel Number <br />314-07-028 (1470 Marlowe Avenue), and Permanent Parcel Number 314-07-027 (1474 Marlowe <br />Avenue), which abut property titled in the name of the City of Lakewood; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to accomplish the Lakewood Hospital Emergency Department <br />'expansion project, the Lakewood Hospital Association requests to transfer title of said parcels to <br />the City of Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lakewood Hospital Association Board of Trustees, at their regular <br />meeting of October 26, 2000, passed a Kesolution authorizing and approving the transfer of title <br />of these parcels to the City of Lakewood; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> OF OHIO: <br /> Section '1. That the Mayor, for and on behalf of the City of Lakewood, is hereby <br /> authorized to accept the transfer of title from the Lakewood Hospital Association to the City of <br /> Lakewood of three parcels of land bearing Permanent Parcel Number 314-07-018 (1471 Belle <br /> Avenue), Permanent Parcel Number 314-07-028 (1470 Marlowe Avenue), and Permanent Parcel <br /> Number 314-07-027 (1474 Marlowe Avenue), more fully described in attached Exhibit A. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Law is hereby authorized and directed to cause quit- <br /> claim deeds of said parcels to be filed with the Cuyahoga County Auditor and recorded with the <br /> Cuyahoga County Recorder (designated by Automaied File Number (AFN) ), and <br /> any and all other actions deemed necessary to transfer said rifles. <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br /> concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this <br /> council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in <br /> such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal <br /> <br />requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 4. <br />allowed by law. <br /> <br />That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
