Water System Replacement Program (Ohio <br />Public Works Commission) in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood, <br />contracts not to exceed the specified amounts shown without separate Resolution of Council. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the Immediate preservation of the public <br />property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual dally operation of municipal departments In that <br />certain capital Improvements projects are to be undertaken In 2001 in accordance with the Capital <br />[mprovement Plan for fiscal year 2001 and luther, best prices would be more readlly obtained early in <br />fiscal year 2001: now. therefore~ <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI'I'Y OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to engage <br />architectural and/or engineering firms to provide professional services in the design and preparation of <br />specifications and contract administration and to advertise for bids and enter into a contract with the <br />lowest and best bidder in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood for the <br />following Water System Zmprovements, contracts not to exceed the specified amounts shown, except as <br />hereinafter provided: <br /> <br />Clifton Blvd. 4" North main (W. llY~ to Cove) $ 500,000 <br />Grace Ave. (Franklin to Madison) 340,000 <br />Forest Rd.
