RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS AND FACILITIES <br /> <br />SELF-INSURANCE AGREE~4ENT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREE~4ENT iS made and entered into at Lakewood, Ohio <br /> <br />this day of , 1987 by and between the City <br /> <br />of Lakewoo~ (the "City") and the Board of E~ucation of the <br />Lakewood City School District (the "Board"). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board, through its A~ult Education and <br />Recreation Department, conducts and administers various <br />recreational programs in the Cuyahoga County Metroparks System <br />(the "Metroparks") and throughout the City on Recreational <br />Facilities separately owned by the Board and the City (the <br />"Recreational Facilities") including, but not limited to, the <br />Recreational Programs listed on the schedule attache~ hereto and <br />made a part hereof as "Exhibit A" (the "Recreational Programs") ~ <br />and <br /> <br /> W~]~REAS, the Board and the City have entered into <br />agreements, both formal and informal, governing the operation of <br />Recreational Programs and Recreational Facilities (the "Prior <br />Agreements") including, but not limited to, the agreement of July <br />1, 1982 for the operation of the Harrison Neighborhood facility, <br />the agreement of October 13, 1975 for the operation of the <br />Winterhurst-Lakewood Municipal Ice Rink, the agreement of June 21, <br />1963 for the operation of the City-owned tennis courts, agreements <br />governing the operation of swimming pools at Lakewood Park and <br />Madison Park and agreements governing the operation of various <br />playfields and athletic fields.
