Please Substitute for Ordinance No. 69-01. (Placed on 1~ Reading and Referred to the Public Works and Finance Committees !2/3/o10 ORDINANCE NO. 6g-01 BY: Corrigan, Dunn, FitzGerald, George, Roth, Seelie, Skindell. AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, and' the Director of Rnance to advertise for bids and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood, for the purchase of the listed' vehicles and equipment, contracts not to exceed the specified amounts shown without separate Resolution of Council. WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five (5) members elected · thereto determines that this ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance shall take effect at the eadlest date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III, SECTONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AlVlENDED CHARTER OF THE CTI'Y OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that certain capital improvements projects are to be undertaken beginning 3anuary 1, 2002 in accordance with the Capital Improvement Plan for fiscal year 2002. Now therefore, BE TI' ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO Section 1.
