Please Substitute for Ordinance No. 69-01. <br />(Placed on 1~ Reading and Referred to the <br />Public Works and Finance Committees <br />!2/3/o10 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 6g-01 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, Dunn, FitzGerald, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Mayor <br />(Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, and' the Director of Rnance to <br />advertise for bids and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder in <br />accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood, for the purchase of <br />the listed' vehicles and equipment, contracts not to exceed the specified amounts <br />shown without separate Resolution of Council. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five (5) members elected <br />· thereto determines that this ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this <br />ordinance shall take effect at the eadlest date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III, <br />SECTONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AlVlENDED CHARTER OF THE CTI'Y OF <br />LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of <br />municipal departments in that certain capital improvements projects are to be <br />undertaken beginning 3anuary 1, 2002 in accordance with the Capital Improvement <br />Plan for fiscal year 2002. Now therefore, <br /> <br />BE TI' ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1.
