PLACED ON 1ST READING & KEF~ TO TH~ RUL~.S <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 35-02 BY: Corrisan, Dunn, Fi=zGerald, <br /> Ceor~e, Roth, Seelie, Sk~ndell. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to amend section 537.03, Assault, of the Codified Ordinances of <br />the City of Lakewood for the purpose of Including harm to anothefs unborn and to <br />remain consistent with the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance is necessary for the public health, welfare and safety. <br />Now therefore, <br /> <br /> BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That section 537.03, Assault, of the Codified Ordinances of the City <br />of Lakewood currently reading as follows: <br /> <br /> 537.03 ASSAULT. <br /> (a) No person shall knowingly cause or attempt to cause physical harm to <br />another. <br /> (b) No person shall recklessly cause serious physical harm to another. <br /> <br /> (c) ... <br /> <br />shall be and is hereby'amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> 537.03 ASSAULT. <br /> (a) No person shall knowingly cause or attempt to cause physical harm to <br />another or to another's unborn. <br /> <br /> (b) No person shall recklessly cause .serious physical harm to another or to <br />another's unborn. <br /> <br /> Cc) ... <br /> <br /> Sec'don 2.
